Tomorrow, my fellow intern and new best friend, Kendra, and I embark on a journey to a Giant Eagle Market District in Bethel Park for a Rooted Beauty demo. We are going to be giving out free samples and educating the shoppers about Rooted Beauty. Personally, I am very excited! This will give us a chance to test out our sales techniques, and support a brand we value and love so much. When we met Kim Garrett for the first time, both of us loved her company and the message behind it. She wanted to create skincare that is healthy for the environment and the consumer, as well as help out a cause that is near and dear to her heart. Rooted Beauty donates part of the earnings of each sale to women in need and trying to escape poverty or trafficking. To me, this seems like a perfect product because everyone loves beauty products, so why not donate to a good cause while buying these products as well? It’s a “win, win.” In such a short time, I’ve tried the products, gotten to know Kim better, and completely fell in love with Rooted Beauty. Tomorrow will be so exciting because we will get to express how we feel about the product to others, and promote Kim’s business as well. We are both looking forward to the next few demos we take part in for Kim, and we can’t wait to see how much Rooted Beauty prospers in the future.
