Jake Rickert of PNDC Receives Young Economic Development Professional to Watch Award

Congratulations to Jake Rickert from Penn-Northwest Development Corporation for receiving the Young Economic Development Professional to Watch Award at the Pennsylvania Economic Development Association Fall Conference in Reading, PA. Jake spearheads the Homegrown Initiative as the Director of Workforce Development which aims to grow our local population by matching talented young adults to rewarding jobs in Mercer County.

Jake was born and raised in Greenville, PA, and graduated from Penn State Shenango with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications. Prior to Penn Northwest, Jake served in the United States Army for four years. He currently services in the National Guard as a Staff Sergeant for an Infantry Company. His knowledge of external and internal communications, strategic analysis, and public relations assists in his efforts towards workforce development and the revitalization of Mercer County.
