I can’t believe only three weeks have gone by. Since day 1, we have accomplished so much but for this magazine to be the way we have all envisioned, we still got some work to do. I mean I’m always writing in school. Whether it’s for class, the school paper, or promotional stuff for my job; I’m writing. But still, I don’t think I’ve EVER written this much in such a short amount of time.

What an amazing accomplishment this will be. Only 7 interns tasked with putting an entire magazine together. People wont stop asking me about when this is going to come out and I can’t wait for them to see it. I know I’ve mentioned this in EVERY SINGLE ONE of my last posts but seriously…it’s the only thing on my mind right now. I want to be able to walk into a job interview next year and show them “look what I am capable of.” It’s a powerful feeling.
I can’t lie. I’m scared sometimes that I will be like the thousands of other kids who graduate and end up working at walmart, or somewhere else where their degree doesn’t matter, not being able to provide for my family. I feel like this magazine gives me that edge over my competitors. It’s something that many people don’t have the opportunity to do. That’s what keeps me motivated.

Stay Hungry,
