A warm hello to my fellow entrepreneurs,

My name is Connor Foley and I am a Grove City College student studying Computer Science and Fine Arts.  I started my summer internship at the eCenter@LindenPointe on Monday and one of my tasks is a weekly blog which I am introducing today.

First, our team of seven interns was assigned to create a full-scale magazine to encourage millennials to stay or move into the area (specifically Lawrence County and Mercer County).  Millennials are youthful individuals in the age range of roughly 16-26.  My team and I will be working on the magazine as well as several other individual or small group projects.

On my second day of work, I was assigned the position of Graphic Designer for a start-up company based out of the eCenter called Blissed Out Design.  You can find more information about the company on their website: http://www.blissedoutdesign.com/.  The company uses a unique stone process called print sublimation and they have an innovative way of blending the old with the new.  I cannot disclose any of the details of the upcoming designs at this time, however, I can say that I am working on a logo and a storyboard.

My creative energy is blossoming at the eCenter and I am strongly looking forward to where Yvonne English, the director, will be guiding our internship team this summer.  There are so many creative opportunities here and I am learning so much about entrepreneurial work each and every day.  I can’t wait to give you updates on our progress.  Keep reading and I will have some exciting blog posts to come!

Until then,

Connor Foley
